Hotel "slavey"

After asking me to park my car at the private parking they have available (20 leva per day) i was announced that my car key was misplaced or lost. ( they kept the car key as they had to move the cars around to accommodate everyone ). After more than 10 hours talking back and forth with the hotel staff manager and parking manager no solution has been found. They simply do not care about their clients and their needs. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Decent hotel for a stay in Golden Sands. Rooms have plenty of space and were OK clean. Bathrooms could be better - for instance, the water drained slowly in the shower so I was constantly standing in dirty water. Rooms were checked by cleaning crew daily but they forgot to top-up toilet paper and shampoo on most days. The hotel’s four pools were great and clean. Fantastic that there was a pool that suited every age: From the kiddy-pool at 40 cm depth to the largest pool with 160 cm depth. The indoor pool was reserved for swimming lanes, which is perfect if you want to do some exercise-swimming without having to zig-zag between playing kids. All-inclusive was pretty good for the price. The ice cream was a huge hit with our kids. Drinks were so-so but again fine for the all-inclusive price. Our only complaint is not with the hotel but with some of the other guests. Golden Beach is a party zone and some guests were EXTREMELY loud during the night. The hotel has security during the night but they did not seem to care about guests running in the halls yelling and singing for hours at 3 am. It is especially annoying because the walls between rooms are thin so you hear everything. All in all, a very nice hotel within a short walk from the nice beach.

Sadly a hotel full of 'manelisti' and 'cocalari'. The staff is friendly and the food is good, definitely worth the money paid.... but for example, today at the pool in one hour I heard at least four romanian manele. So, maybe in the future management can pick some neutral music and play it and will not let all the guests 'enjoy' what some wanna hear.

Been there for 14 days. Hotel room was nice and on the top floor. Too bad the air condition didn't work and it was very hot in the room, too hot to sleep. The reception told us day after day "there will be a technician" but actually nobody ever came. It somehow already ruined our holidays! While planing a excursion with our tour operator he asked us, whether everything was fine with the hotel and we told him about the problem with the air condition. He was really upset that the hotel reception didn't help us and asked for the hotel manager, out of a sudden we got a family room on the ground floor and a bottle of sparkling wine, as a little compensation.(Thanks again at that point for our tour guide from Neckermann, he really made our problem his problem and was really really ambitious to make our holidays great again). Food in the hotel isn't great, but that's what you have to expect at that price. Pizza though, which is served for lunch and dinner was quite nice. Both rooms were cleaned nicely and the service staff put a smile on our faces every time we came home to a made room (see pictures)
